God Makes No Mistakes!

Last week Wed. Daddy and the boys were at home and the rest of us were at the Thiessen sewing circle at the neighbors Albert & Linda. I was quilting when I heard a loud crashing noise which came from the direction of our farm. My thoughts flew...cause I knew Daddy and my brothers were working at home. Quilting was forgotten for a moment and with the thimble still on the finger I went to check up. I wasn't far yet when I saw what must have happened. One of our grain tanks broke through. And there were close to 1,000 bags of black eye beans on the ground. Daddy and Uncle John had heard the noise as well and they wasted no time in getting to work. With help from the Uncles and some youth guys we got the beans shoveled unto trucks before night and before the rain came. A Big Thank-You to all those that helped!! We would have worked way into the night if we should have done it all without any help.
The top part of the tank came in from suction!!

On Thursday it started raining and we were so glad that our beans were cleaned up. I think we have had rain every day yet since then. I don't know the exact inches that it has rained the last days but it's around 12in. So yea no wonder the rivers started flooding. In the south there has been big flood and mudslides. A few bridges have been washed out in that area.
We waited for rain and we sure did get plenty of rain. The smoke has been chased away. And the mountains in the distance are visible again. And the grass is turning green very fast!! The Robin's singing sounds so much clearer with an echo behind it yet!!

Floyd & Nathan had a plane ride yesterday!!
And Floyd even got to fly!! Which is one of his dreams to do more times...
Our farm from the top...look at the green grass and trees. Isn't it lovely??!!
And the Iguana creek bridge...just passable...
(sorry for the bad quality in this one)

It is a glorious thing to know that our father God makes no mistakes in directing or permitting that which crosses the path of our life. "It is the glory of God to conceal a matter." It is our glory to trust Him, no matter what.
