Early Morning at the Lake

I was given the chance to go with 2 photographers for a photo shoot 

today morning out on a Lake!!!!

So here are a few of my best results...

actually maybe quite a lot since I couldn't decide which to take out....

 ~Sunrise~

 These small lilies were only buds when we started out 

but were in bloom by the time we got back!

 My prayer the night before was that I would be able to see 

God's majesty and power on the trip.

And guess what I think it was for the first time that I saw a rainbow at sunrise 

and in the west!!

So with rainbows always being  special for me, 

I felt like God answered my prayer!

 

 

Though it wasn't just the rainbow that was an answer to prayer. I saw God's majesty in the tiny flowers, the birds, and the lake!  I'm glad God put scenery into this world for us to enjoy!!!

It was a pleasure to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends!!

Taking pictures, chatting, laughing, and just having fun!

Blessings...

I went to visit CDI today!

Though today I took special time for Christal...

I'm her prayer partner/warrior. So I brought her a little snack and visited with her for a while!

And later joined the other girls for a cool off in the river!!

I ENJOYED it to the fullest!!

It's always a treat to go back to CDI and especially with the hearty welcome the girls always give me!!

Makes it feel like it was just yesterday that I was their dorm Mother!

They will for sure always hold a special spot in my heart.

Opinion Needed!!

I bought these 2 chairs!!

They are kinda old and shaky but I thought for photography they would do. Plus they used to be my Grandparent's chairs so they're a Souvenir too!  But can't decide if I want to leave them like this or paint them white. Since I know white chairs look good on pictures. :-)

So anyone want to share your opinion....

I'm glad God made flowers that bloom in the 

hot and dry weather yet!!
